Clayhearth early alpha · last updated 3 November 2026The short version
Clayhearth has no analytics, no ads and no trackers. There is no account, so we never ask for your name, email or password. We keep only what the game needs to run.
What stays in your browser
The game saves a few things in your browser's local storage, on your own device:
- your player ID and the colonies you have played in this browser;
- the secret key that opens your colony (the same thing as the recovery code in the colony menu);
- your colony name, your progress through the founding guide and a few display settings.
Clearing your browser's site data removes them. Your colony itself lives on our server, so keep the recovery code if you want to get it back.
What reaches our server
- Your colony, its name and your public player ID, so the game can run and other players can find you.
- The network address you connect from, as any website sees it.
- If the game hits an error in your browser, a short report: the error, the page and your browser's name.
- If you use Send feedback in the colony menu: your message and your player ID, so we can find your colony.
We use this only to run and fix the game. We do not sell or share it.
Tips
The tip link opens Streamlabs, a separate site with its own privacy policy. We never see your payment details.
Contact
To ask what we keep about you or to have it deleted, write to us on X, @peaceakatoo. Include your player ID (from the colony menu, like 7Q4-M2X), never your recovery code.
